Maxton Fox has recently completed workstation and joinery components throughout the brand new John Holland $165.7 million development in Sydney’s Macquarie Precinct for Government client – TfNSW.

A 35,000m2 building at 45 Waterloo Road, consisting of 11 floors of Grade A, 5 star Green Rated Commercial Office space.

Maxton Fox were awarded by John Holland and the tenanted client to manufacture all workstations and joinery throughout 11 floors of commercial workspace consisting of a large variety of work settings, communal areas, meeting rooms and quiet booths.

The building includes a large reception area, and internal atrium with skylights which provides for natural daylight throughout the large floor plates giving great lines of sight, openness and a full perspective of the shape of the building from the ground floor.

Cox Architects and Interiors were leading the commercial workplace design, and worked closely with our Maxton Fox design and development team to create a range of new product types to suit the design, and core activities required by the client organisation.

The design of the interiors throughout provides for a wonderful sense of flow across all floors.

This was an extensive project for Maxton Fox and as such we delivered an end to end service throughout. From design and development consultancy on product and custom joinery components, to detailed shop drawings, rapid and on-time manufacturing, to quality control, delivery along with our dedicated onsite installation team to project manage the installation for the best end result.

Maxton Fox manufactured and installed:

  • Multiple workstation types: sit-to-stand 4-way cluster ‘Podium’ workstations, sit-to-stand straight back to back 4,6 and 8 cluster ‘Podium’ workstations, a range of our ‘Pilot’ workstations as well as standing height bench-type ‘Pilot’ desks
  • Boardroom tables
  • Meeting room tables
  • Custom reception joinery
  • Modular and demountable quiet rooms
  • Reception counters and podiums

We commissioned Guy Wilkinson to photograph the entire space.
