HiQ is is an Education services function. Various HiQ centres exist throughout a university and its campuses to help in supporting students on their education journey, whilst also provide library services.

Maxton Fox was selected as the manufacturer for the service desks throughout. We were asked to customise our Podium workstation pod range into a unit that is sufficient for a concierge-like function within the HiQ Centre at Kelvin Grove campus.

Instead of a 4-way clover shape, we re-engineered the system to be 3-way with smaller base circumference whilst also maintaining the stability; particularly when raising the desk height with the electronic mechanism.

The client and project team are extremely happy with the way these units were manufactured and delivered.

We are pretty happy with the outcome too.
