In 2007, Maxton Fox was awarded the contract to work on Sydney Water’s new HQ complex in Parramatta, built by Multiplex and designed by Woods Bagot. A new building that demonstrates how architectural design can provide the latest technology, while ensuring significant savings in water and energy consumption.
The new corporate headquarters comprises 23,000 m2 of ‘A’ Grade office accommodation across 15 storeys and 340 m2 of retail space, along with 254 on-site car parking spaces and a further 100 off-site car parking spaces.
Designed to achieve a high standard in workplace efficiency and environmental sustainability, the office fit-out incorporates a range of innovative features that achieve a 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built ratings. As such, Maxton Fox was awarded this project on the basis of their sustainable manufacturing principles, processes and materials.
