Contributing to the One Central Park 2008 refurbishment gave Maxton Fox the opportunity to design, manufacture, and mass produce unique items that were yet to be seen in the Australian market for 180 apartments. Maxton Fox used its local design and manufacturing capabilities to deliver bespoke kitchens, residential apartment internal finishes, wall panelling, wardrobes, and bathroom vanities—integral parts to a landmark Sydney building known for its unique green walls, sky deck, and heliostat.
Creating Australian industry-first kitchen wall panelling
To ensure it was able to create the perfect lightweight curved panels for the kitchen area for each apartment, Maxton Fox developed its own tooling. Maxton Fox was then able to mass produce the wall panelling for 180 apartments—an Australian-first product developed specifically for this landmark Sydney project.
To create a smart, sleek bathroom environment, Maxton Fox employed its in-house design and local manufacturing capabilities to create wall mounted floating bathroom basins and shelves, and installed mirrors with detailed fixing locations.
Bespoke benchtop, veneer door and panels
Taking advantage of the virtually seamless, hygienic, and practical look of Corian products, Maxton Fox manufactured stylish bespoke benchtops for the kitchen and bathroom. To complete the kitchen design, Maxton Fox also manufactured polyurethane and timber doors and panels.
In 2013 Maxton Fox completed its work on One Central Park, providing important deliverables as a part of one of Sydney’s most important apartment block constructions in recent history.
Maxton Fox was engaged to work on the iconic One Central Park due to its ability to provide:
